North Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles
The main NCDMV headquarters and Vehicle Services Dealer Unit is located in downtown Raleigh. This location is the only North Carolina location that provides dealer licensing services.

License and Theft Bureau Districts
In North Carolina there are 7 License & Theft Bureaus. During the process of obtaining your dealer license you will need to contact the inspectors in your district. You may use them as a resource to answer questions and you will also need to schedule your physical inspection when the time is right.
